About VantagePoint Aerial
VantagePoint Aerial is the practice of Ivory Washington, an FAA Part 107-certified commercial pilot specializing in aerial inspections, construction monitoring, mapping, photogrammetry, roof inspections, and high-resolution data collection. Ivory has flown large commercial properties, distribution centers, insurance inspection missions, and multi-site projects across Texas.
The shop runs RTK-capable enterprise equipment — a DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise with NTRIP corrections when the mission calls for it — with high-overlap nadir, oblique, and crosshatch workflows for photogrammetry, mapping, and 3D reconstruction. Fully insured, available statewide.
Accuracy & QC methodology
VantagePoint collects RTK-enabled aerial data on the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise with NTRIP corrections when required. Mission planning is tailored to client specifications for altitude, overlap, GSD, and capture angle, using high-overlap nadir, oblique, and crosshatch workflows for photogrammetry, mapping, inspections, and 3D reconstruction. Data processes in DroneDeploy, WebODM, QGIS, or other client-specified platforms. GCPs and checkpoints are incorporated when provided or required by the project scope, with accuracy requirements set by the client's deliverable specifications.
