• Fort Detrick, located within the city of Frederick, is a U.S. Army medical research installation with restricted airspace and security zones. While Fort Detrick does not have a formal Class B/C/D airspace designation, the installation maintains a security buffer and requires coordination with base operations for any drone operations near its perimeter.
